For the 3rd year in a row, a few of us took part in the Cornwall race weekend. A well organized race with a small town atmosphere. A great course, lots of volunteers, and sunshine all day.

To maximize your effort, your muscles have to be well rested. Not resting properly hinders your fitness, and slows you down. It also significantly increases the risk of injuries

It all started with talk of a metric century around Carp. It turned out to be a ride from Vincent’s and Diane’s house to Brian’s and Maureen’s cottage and back. One of the best rides of the year.



We met at Vincent’s for a 10 am start. (that means leave at 10 David) Thanks to his new Garmin 1000, Brian was quick to announce the temperature at the start was 4C....

A dozen or so of us, with a few beginners, fought the easterly winds through farmers field and small villages for a 100km trek to the Vankleek Hill Oktoberfest.
